NDIS Early Childhood Supports

How Early Childhood Supports Deliver More

Our NDIS early childhood supports are designed to help children with disabilities and developmental delays (aged up to nine years) build essential skills in everyday environments such as daycare, school, home, and the community. A dedicated child and family team, led by a key worker, partners closely with you to create the positive changes you want for your child and family. Our key workers, often qualified teachers, use their expertise in child development to foster growth in social and emotional skills, physical development, cognitive abilities, and language and communication, along with many other areas that support your child’s overall progress and confidence.

Early Childhood Supports

Our early childhood intervention services support children aged up to nine years in the environments where they learn and play. Led by a dedicated key worker, our child and family team works together to plan and deliver meaningful change for the whole family. We offer support for children at home, school, or within the community, ensuring that care is accessible and consistent across settings. Families also gain access to specialist therapists when needed, along with personalised, family-centred planning and coaching. Our approach focuses on building social, emotional, and language skills, as well as many other developmental areas that help children thrive and reach their full potential.

Our Spectra Early Childhood Supports services include:

Key worker led therapy plans

Behaviour support consultation and planning

Parent workshops and coaching sessions

Eligibility & Funding

Who is eligible and how is it funded?

If your child has an NDIS plan, you can begin accessing early childhood supports with the funding already in your plan. We help families understand how supports fit into their plan and which services to request.

If your child is not yet funded, we can guide you through early childhood pathways and referrals so you can apply for the right supports. We also offer advice on what to include in a plan to secure early intervention funding.

A key worker is your main contact who plans and oversees most of your child’s supports. They coordinate specialists, guide family coaching, and make sure therapy fits your daily life.

The model gives consistency and clear coordination. One person oversees the plan, reducing duplication and making therapy easier to follow at home and school.

The key worker assesses your child’s strengths, routines, and needs, observes interactions in the natural setting, and begins building a Child and Family Support Plan.
